Rebecca and Josh found out about us though Austin Curtis, from austindara.com. With a few exchanges of phone calls, they decided to book our team. On new years eve, the team headed up the coast to Santa Barbra to live it up in our sweet Holiday Inn. Actually, we walked main street, grabbed some pizza, and then headed back to the room at about 9pm. The next morning we made our way to the gorgeous Four Seasons, Santa Barbra, where we met Josh and Rebecca for the first time. They were surrounded by loved ones who were all extremely excited to be apart of the day. With the new year, brings new things. Their wedding brought some new experiences for us. Something foreign to us was the tradition of smudging. Before the ceremony I had heard Rebecca talking about this with her mother. In my mind, I imagined the mothers placing the bride and groom in a giant bear hug and squishing them together causing a huge smudging of bodies. You can believe how I was surprised when I realized that the native smudging ritual was simply a burning of sage and other herbs and fanning others with the smoke.
Josh and Rebecca are very motivated together to raise peoples awareness in preserving our natural resources and saving the earth. Their efforts have moved many to change and to make a difference in the world. You can learn more of their efforts by visiting greenplanetprods.com, thefuelfilm.com, and veggievan.org
