We know having us film your big day is a HUGE investment. We also know there are a million things going on while we’re shooting that you are hoping happen when they’re supposed to happen, where they’re supposed to happen. In order for your day to be as cinematic as possible, we just need you to sit back, relax and rest easy knowing we’re getting all the best footage of your big day!

.

The more detailed the schedule of your big day is, the more we are able to prepare for each upcoming event. When making your schedule, allow some time for relaxing and extra cushion in case things are running behind. These space cushions not only help you, but they also allow us to work on more creative and planned out shots.

In order to shoot each event at the reception (i.e. first dance, cake cutting and speeches), we need to change camera lenses and audio settings. Whoever is announcing the events, should give us about 5 minutes between each event so that we may properly prepare. Additionally, a 2- minute warning before events begin is crucial, otherwise we can not be fully prepared as a team.

.

We use the speeches and vows as the backbone of your film because they tend to tell the story most accurately. It is important to make sure these speeches/vows are well prepared, thought out and meaningful.

.

The best-case scenario for quality lighting in our films are locations that have as much natural light as possible. This keeps skin tones looking natural and makes the colors in the end product look so much more vibrant.

In order to do what we do best, our team must have the freedom to move camera positions. We often work in churches and other venues that have strict rules against moving during the ceremonies. We understand that many before us have been in the way or distracting, forcing venues to create rules. Our team is very respectful to religious traditions and, in discreet manner, film the events of your day as they take place. We move frequently in order to cinematically capture the event but will never be anywhere or do anything to take away from the event. Please discuss these points with your venue prior to the event to ensure we’ll be able to accomplish our goals in providing you with the highest quality film of your day.

Thank you for considering these points when planning your wedding!
